Color reproduction in a television without distortion

Abstract:
The article discusses the color distortion in the TV due to the special mathematical processing of the received video signal to the TV control signal television screen. It is assumed that the output of a video camera telecentre metric characteristics of the color of each pixel of the image (in the case of colorimetric camera - it\'s color coordinates in the CIE 1931 Χ, Υ, Ζ). If (as is the case in practice) the use of a conventional camera, it will be a certain color coordinates in the camera coordinate system already. The paper describes the principles of obtaining colorimetric faithful color reproduction for colors that are in the triangle gamut screen and colors beyond this triangle, their images are on the edge (side) of a triangle with the least color distortion. An developed mathematical apparatus is shown. Furthermore, the paper gives a functional diagram of the device being added to the TV circuit, for this playback method colorimetrically accurate color reproduction.
