Abstract:
A method of motion parameters identification for navigation satellites is proposed. This technique employing simple approaches to radio and laser measurements allows for the following. Firstly, the current coordinates are determined immediately on board the sat- ellites, thus reducing the computational load on the consumers - receivers and telemetric tracking stations, and secondly, general in- tersatellite measurements accuracy in space is enhanced in comparison to that of telemetric measurements which are subject to at- mospheric disturbances. As the proposed approach is invariant to path parameters of the objects such as relative positions, altitudes, etc, this technique may be also generalized for other types of aerospace objects moving along orthodromic paths.
