The node model of the traffic distribution for perspective satellite communications networks

Abstract:
Perspective technologies of satellite communication networks suggest reducing the effect of these limitations by using broadband RF bands, transfer switching and routing functions to space, widespread use of inter-satellite links and others. The investigated satellite network consist of several systems with wireless inter-satellite channels. In this case, network structure is dynamically changing and the traffic distribution analysis becomes much more complicated. Moreover, process-structure interaction is necessary to taking into account if network has a dynamically changing topology but classical methods such as queueing theory or graph theory do not con- sider a process-structure interaction. In this work, we presented the model of the traffic distribution for a perspective satellite network with inter-satellite channels. The base of model is the node tensor model that is allow taking to account process-structure interaction. This approach let determine the traffic distribution in the network with regard of its topology. Also in this work, the model of satellite network is presented. The re- sults demonstrates the possibilities of applying of node tensor models for modelling of traffic distribution in satellite network.
