Abstract:
The quality of streaming and/or interactive user application packet traffic (VoIP, video conferencing, file sharing, internet access) is determine by the amount of allocated bandwidth satellite channels as part of their joint multiple access to the radio interface re- sources. However, achieving the required availability factor (readiness factor) services in a stochastic traffic, described by the long- term statistical profile is associated with information redundancy reserved bandwidth satellite channels. This paper proposes an op- tion to optimize the parameters of dynamic redundancy scheme that would allow to achieve bandwidth potential efficiency provided random initial data by application type, volume and quality of services. These results indicate the possibility of achieving a higher value of information efficiency schemes of dynamic reservation bandwidth in comparison with known solutions. The proposed ap- proach will enable to synthesize a universal program-controlled circuit and dynamic provisioning of bandwidth on demand, or to jus- tify the optimal configuration of TDMA channels of specific solutions to arbitrary variations of design tasks.
