The ground segment simulator of command and measurement system

Abstract:
Command and measuring system of the spacecraft is critical to the success of the mission entrusted to the spacecraft (SC). This ap- plies primarily to the implementation of control of systems and devices of the SC at all stages of the life cycle - from design, produc- tion and pre-flight tests in orbit and to the entire period of active life until the planned termination of the operation. Control of the operation and functions of the spacecraft is performed by transferring from the Satellite Control Center via radio commands and flight tasks. By the return radio channel the receipts of the command performance and reports on the performed functions are transmitted. In addition, command and measurement system supports measurement of current navigation parameters of the SC. To ensure the uptime of command and measuring system throughout the lifetime of the SC, it is necessary to conduct detailed tests on compliance with all the specs. To perform such tests control and testing equipment is using. In this article the implementation of the ground segment simulator of command and measurement system of spacecraft based on the PXI standard equipment is stated.
