Abstract:
Discusses the trends and problems of development of mobile satellite communications solutions for military tasks. The focus is on satellite communications stations, placed on the ground and the railway facilities that provide mobile communication. It also covers the wearable terminal with limited size and weight up to 7-10 kg of These terminals can be prepared to work for 3-5 minutes, and their power consumption allows it to operate in full duplex mode up to 5-6 hours. Scientific interest are proposals aimed at improving the bitrate mobile satellite communication terminals in the Ka/Q-band due to zonal maintenance, minimum elevation not less than 10 degrees, efficient modulation and coding, as well as the adopted compromise when choosing energy budget radio links.
