Abstract:
The authors propose the method to increase of measurement accuracy of radio-navigation parameters in the phase radio-navigation system (PRNS). This method is based on the simultaneous transmission of PRNS signals operating frequencies during the time interval of the signal transmission (Tt) or retransmission (Tr) from PRNS stations. Authors simulated the device that implements this method in LabVIEW. The simulation results showed that the use of the method to increase measurement accuracy of radio-navigation parameters allows keeping the interval of time required for the transmission signals of PRNS stations constant, with the introduction of additional operating frequencies. These frequencies are required to extend the range of unambiguous assessment of radio-navigation parameters (RNP), and to increase the probability of correct multiple meanings. Further, protective intervals are excluded between the signals of different frequencies, thereby the time of phase shift (PS) measurement and RNP estimating precision are increased.
