Abstract:
The tests of a smoke formation during the combustion of the fireproof composite materials based on polyolefines were carried out by the method of the cone calorimetry.The results show that these polymeric materials are composites with low smoke generation, compared with the conventionally used in the cable insulation PVC compositions. These results open the possibility of creation the electrical insulating materials that comply with modern fire safety standards.
