Abstract:
One of the most important tasks of modern radio-electronic systems (RES) development is increasing of their functional efficiency, especially concerned with increasing of the resolving capacity of RES. The significance of this task is defined byrapid expansion of the systems and their permanent complication. In this view it is interest of using of space-processing methods providing resolution of radio signal sources smaller then Rayleigh limit. From other hand, possibility of using such methods is defined by development of the digital signal-processing facilities which provide realization of any space-processing of signals in antenna array (AA), and this realization is based on digital pattern-forming schematics.
The task of the article is to research resolving capacity of the RES by analysis of the direction-finding characteristics, formed by plane AA with using of Keipon-s and «thermal noise» superresolution methods.
Realized research showed:
1. Using of Keipon-s and «thermal noise» superresolution methods with direction-finding pattern forming allows to narrow main lobe and provides higher ratio of the main lobe level to the pattern level out of it. At the same time the level of pattern out of the main lobe is typically constant.
2. Fulfilled transforms with using of an analytical representation of inverted matrix allows to determine next laws:
level of the pattern maximum is proportionate to signal-to-noise ratio and number of elements in AA (in case of «thermal noise» using - to these parameters raised to the second power);
-3 dB width of the pattern in every plane is depend on the number of elements in both of planes (as against to «classical» pattern, where width is depend on only number of elements in corresponding plane).
3. Using of superresolution methods in AA with spaced and non equidistant distribution of the elements allows to decrease diffrational lobes to the level of lateral radiation.
