Abstract:
In the design of electronic systems with antenna arrays arises the problem of minimizing the number of processing channels and configuration of the aperture, providing forming of a preassigned pattern. These requirements are contradictory and can only be resolved in a compromise solution. In this paper to address the problem of minimizing the number of channels the antenna system and accuracy requirements specified pattern formation method is proposed constructive synthesis antenna array based on genetic algorithm. The proposed method required antenna configuration is represented as a binary mask, states in the process of «natural selection». To assess the quality of the population, represented by the set of binary masks in the iterative process is the solution of the amplitude-phase synthesis of the antenna array. This places high demands on the performance of the method of amplitude-phase synthesis. Therefore, for implementing the proposed accelerated gradient procedure for determining the complex weights to ensure the formation of a given pattern. To test the efficiency of the method of synthesis of structural plane array to obtain two solutions which minimize the number of emitters in the array during the formation of the best approximation accuracy formed to a specific pattern. Both solutions showed a high rate of convergence of genetic algorithm. To reach a solution took 20 iterations, the initial population consisted of 36 sets of configurations array. The differences of the solution was to change the parameters of the procedure mutation. In the first case, the presence of a mutation step was formed sparse array. The exception of this phase led to the formation of the aperture, which is similar in shape to the round.
