Abstract:
Currently, the development of foreign countries pay more attention to improve air reconnaissance of ground targets. The most promising means of intelligence are considered airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR). Work on the creation of such radar systems exploration conducted in the late 1980s in the U.S., UK and France, and in the mid-1990s, all of these systems were adopted. Among them are detailed in the article by an American program to create a radar system reconnaissance and targeting «JSTARS», the French «Orchidee» and English program «Astor». Improvements synthetic aperture radar (SA) aimed at getting more acceptable images with higher resolution and at long range. Further directions for the development of intelligence radar ground targets also include: the application of measures to increase the survival rate of the aircraft, increasing the reliability and maintainability improvements, expansion opportunities aircraft in combat missions and the optimization of intelligence sensors, in order to avoid re-circled, and increase opportunities for timely interpretation and use of data. It is noted that the most important ways to increase survival aircraft reconnaissance and target are the use of on-off radar, and an increase in range and resolution of the radar, reducing the level of side-lobe antenna.
