The spatial impulse response of acoustoelectronic signal processing devices antenna arrays

Abstract:
Real parameters of acoustoelectronic signal processing devices arrays antenna depend on several factors substantially influence on spatial impulse response.
The analysis of the directional properties of the acoustic transducers may be made by analogy to antenna axis radiation. However, most of the materials used as substrates of acoustoelectronic devices are crystals. The use of an isotropic model for anisotropic materials leads to significant errors in the design of the acoustic processor. For the calculation of directional diagram of inter-digital transducer in the anisotropic material is necessary to determine the angle between the group and phase velocities. Was held approximates the curve of the phase velocity. The resulting expressions are used for determining the parameters of the spatial impulse response by computer modeling.
Directional diagram of element in the array can be very different from the directional diagram of isolated converter. Therefore the influence of the elements needs to be considered. The excitation of one element leads to the excitation of neighboring transducers. Directional diagram of the element in the array is formed with the influence of fields of neighboring elements. The obtained dependencies allow consider the influence between the elements on the characteristics of the device.
