Abstract:
In this paper, we present a review of world-wide developments achieved in a manufacturing of ultrafast analog-to-digital converters, and give a basic parameters of ADCs with sampling rates about 1 GS/s and above, which was produced over a period of time 5 years ago. We show leaders of the market which are not manufacturers of components, but there are an active well-known firms which developing and making use of superADCs in own equipments (LeCroy, Tektronix, Agilent). Now in the market come in to service some firms which was not produced the ultrafast A/D (Analog Devices, Hittite Microwave). This is the obvious example that the necessity of ultrafast ADCs are grows considerably.
