Abstract:
Currently, increasing demands on the efficiency of radars, which in addition to traditional tasks such as detection, determination of the origin, targets tracking, should solve the problem of identification (recognition) of objects of radar surveillance. timely solving of this problem allows the radar in the first place, depending on the potential dangers of the detected target, to use the information, rationally, and secondly, to increase the efficiency of the solution to their traditional radar problems. Radar detection can be performed using a variety of symptoms, including ranging, pictures or high-speed radar image of the object. Upon reflection signal with sufficient spatial resolution of a complex object resultant signal is a sequence specific manner are located in the range (time) pulse signals. The alignment of distance depends on the location and orientation of the typical "shiny spots" of the object location. The amplitude of these pulses is determined b y effective area dispersion of separated "shiny spots". This pulse sequence gives the radar ranging portrait of the object location. One of the main problems in the way of solving the problem of radar detection and recognition of objects is to obtain the "portraits" of radar facilities under service conditions, study of their characteristics, their definition of stable patterns. In connection with not too high-resolution radar test range were investigated by ranging and portrait paintings sufficiently large (extended) complex and the brightest point of radar sites. At the moment, our company developed coherent wideband maritime radar, which allows to significantly improve the recognition capabilities of radar objects (including small ones) on tuned algorithms
