Abstract:
Constant expansion of a circle of the problems solved for the account of application of helicopters, and requirements to possibility of flights in any weather and at any time, including in the conditions of strong a cross-country terrain and presence of various obstacles on a flight line, dictate necessity of introduction for structure of the onboard equipment of the helicopter of the radar-tracking gauge (RTG), providing detection of factors dangerous to flight and safe planting of the helicopter to an airfield in difficult weather conditions. Besides, the analysis of the accessible information on carrying out of search and rescue operations (search of fishermen, small courts, cars, etc.) also confirms necessity of use RTG. The basic technical decision defining shape, potential possibilities and characteristics RTG of the helicopter, the choice of a working range of frequencies and a kind of probing signals is. From the point of view of technical realisation are of interest a range of millimetric waves as at really possible sizes of the aerial the radar possesses good resolution on an azimuth, and LFMCW of radar-tracking signals − allows to provide the big deviation of frequency and, hence, good resolution on range in comparison with pulse radars. Depending on a solved problem, the system of processing RTG of the helicopter in real time realises various algorithms of processing of signals: FFT, weight processing, not coherent accumulation etc. As a result on the indicator is displayed the radar-tracking image of an observable site of a terrestrial surface in three-dimensional co-ordinates: range − an azimuth − a corner of a place and other information (co-ordinates of the purposes, marks of moving targets, etc.). Developed and made breadboard model RTG of a millimetric wave band confirms that fact, that the continuous mode of radiation RTG allows to provide a demanded energy potential at work on averages дальностях even at small average capacity of radiation (5 dBm). Use of a millimetric waves will allow to reach the high spatial permission of all system as a whole for the account of increase in deviation of frequency. The conducted tests of breadboard model RTG have shown, that it provides formation, processing and display of the radar-tracking information in co-ordinates: «range - an azimuth - a place corner» with the permission no more than 1,6° on an azimuth and no more than 0.5 m on range. The given breadboard model can be considered as the first step at realisation all-weather helicopter RTG a millimetric waves
