The family of atomic functions and wavelets in correlation radar signal processing

Abstract:
The combined methods of correlation radar signals (RS) processing on the basis of the theory of atomic functions (AF) and WA-systems of functions are considered. Algorithms of optimum RS processing are offered. New combinations of Kravchenko-Laplace-Champernoune and the modified logistical distribution weight functions (WF) are entered. On the basis of wavelets, the algorithm of Doppler shift searching in conditions of communication channels noising is developed. In respect to Kravchenko weight functions and also a new wavelet class application the algorithm possesses sufficient flexibility, accuracy and noise stability. Feature of wavelet-modulated WF application is that the constant component of a signal is filtered and that also can be useful for the RS analysis. Quality functional which allows to estimate accuracy and efficiency of correlation RS processing for concrete physical models is constructed. It is shown that the offered approach essentially improves quality of coherent RS analysis. The numerical experiment and the physical analysis of the results show advantages of the suggested and proved approach in problems of correlation information receiving. The investigations were supported by grant NSh-5708.2008.9.
