Application of Space Phase-Frequency Response for Motion Estimation

Abstract:
At preliminary images processing practical realization of two-dimensional devices synthesis methods is possible. It is based on image energetic specter parameters. However, amplitude-frequency methods application may be difficult and in many cases even impossible. For instance, in case it is required to evaluate such parameters as objects location and orientation, their movement and other ones. The application of image phase-frequency characteristic provides such an opportunity. In the article there is theoretically substantiated the possibility of objects movement evaluation on the image by finding derivatives of phase-frequency dimensional characteristic.
