Abstract:
Holographic radars of RASCAN-series are considered in the article. Principle of operation, technical specifications as well as advantages and disadvantages are compared to those of impulse radars. Among considered applications of RASCAN-series radars are: civil and historic building surveys, non-destructive testing of dielectric materials, security applications, and humanitarian demining. Each application area is illustrated by relevant data acquired in laboratory experiments or field tests
