The results of carrying out the patent researches in the context of the topic «The creation antibacterial semi-solid formulation with Salvia in the content» The essential stage in the range of works on developing and introducing new application medical products is the analysis of the level of scientific achievements in this field. The patent examples of gel formulations with Salvia roots extract were not found in the course of work. Also it was demonstrated deficient amount of patents to antibacterial and wound-healing medicines in gel formulation and the absence of Salvia ingredient in the content of antibacterial gels. The results of analysis of patent literature in the field of creation the antibacterial topical semi-solid formulation with plant active ingredients allowed getting information, reflecting the condition of pharmaceutical works in the field of antibacterial topical semi-solid formulations which allowed estimating the topicality and prospects of this work objectively.
