Abstract:
Teucrium polium L. is a perennial herb of the family Lamiaceae. The plant has a wide range of growth in the Kavkaz has long been used in folk medicine, which shows the relevance of the selected object and the direction of research. It should be noted that the active ingredients on herbs of Teucrium polium L. that grows in the North Kavkaz, are not well understood. Given the wide range of pharmacological effects of phenolic compounds, the study of this group of natural compounds in the plant material is also an important issue. For preliminary qualitative analysis of phenolic compounds chromatography method used in paper and thin layer of sorbent in different solvent systems. The experiment established that the best system for the identification of phenolic compounds by thin layer chromatography and paper system is BUVs (4:1:2). In the extraction of the herbs Teucrium polium L. established the presence of flavonoids (rutin, quercetin, hyperoside, apigenin) and phenol carbonic acids (chlorogenic, caffeic). To confirm the qualitative and quantitative determination of the phenolic compounds in the herbs of Teucrium polium L. using HPLC method. As a result, in the herbs of Teucrium polium L. 7 identified phenolic compounds: rutin, hyperoside, quercetin, apigenin, kaempferol, ferulic, chlorogenic, caffeic acid, and calculated their quantitative content. The predominant materialsareapigeninand ferulic acid. The conditions for hydrolysis of glycosides in the herbs of Teucrium polium L.. The analysis confirmed the presence of hydrolysates in the herbs of Teucrium polium L. rutin and glycoside of vicenin that is reflected in the chromatogram in the form of increase in the peak area of quercetin and apigenin, which are their aglycones.
