Abstract:
The interest to use the plant products for medical use is growing. There is necessity to study possible applications of plants, growing in disturbed territories. The plantain (Plantago major L.) ? is a widely spread synanthropic specie, commonly used in medicine. Research scope: find if the leaves of Plantago major L. growing in disturbed territories are permitted for medical use. Research subject - leaves of Plantago major L, collected in various points of Novosibirsk and Novosibirsky Region, comparison subject - pharmaceutical crude materials, as well as the samples collected from radical parts. The concentration of polysaccharose of studied samples corresponds to the requirements of state pharmacopeia [1], i.e. it is less than 12 %. Chlorophyll concentration is analyzed. It is outlined that the material from more contaminated territories contained less chlorophyll, than the material, collected in more favorable territories. It is found out the presence of some chemical elements in crude material and radical soil layer [2]. The content of Cd is varied from 0,171 to 0,288 mpg in plants leaves. The radical soil layer contains Cd in active forms from 0,032 to 0,078 mpg. The content of Pb in crude material is from 1,53 to 1,93 mpg. The radical soil layer contains Pb from 0,7 to 12,78 mpg. The content of Ni in raw material is from 1,40 to 1,84 mpg. The radical soil layer contains active forms of Ni from 0,66 to 1,37 mpg. These values correspond maximum permissible concentration of SanPiN 2.3.2.1078-01 herbal dietary supplements (teas), therefore, the product is permitted for use. After analyzing the concentration of chemical elements in teas and infusions. Cd and Ni are transferred in significant quantity into aqueous recovery (tea). Pb is characterized by low recovery rate. The research defined that Ni had been recovered equally, Pb has been recovered much more. Therefore, plant products, growing in the contaminated territories, according to the studied features, are considered to be permitted for medical use provided the methodical preparation recommendations are respected.
