Possible standardization multifractional extract Levzei saflorovidnogo by spectrophotometry

Abstract:
Rhaponticum carthamoides (Rhaponticum carthamoides) ? endemic to Western Siberia and Altai. This plant has a limited area of distribution that determines the relevance of the development of low-waste production. Previously been obtained liquid extract of rhizomes with roots levzei carthamoides by successive extraction with solvents of different polarity. Each fraction of the extract alone, and the total dry extract were analyzed in terms of the quantitative content of the main active ingredient by spectrophotometry. In the classical method as the solvent methyl alcohol proposed to use. Conducted a patent search and analysis of foreign and domestic literature to substantiate the theoretical analysis of the 20-hydroxyecdysterone using less toxic solvents. In the published literature procedure envisages the use of purified water as solvent. This technique has been adopted for the prototype. The analysis of 6 samples of extraction: extract levzei liquid produced by «Camellia NPP», four fractions of the liquid extract obtained in laboratory conditions using ethyl alcohol 70 %, 40 %, 20 %, the latest extract obtained by two different methods, and the total dry extract, which is a mixture of various fractions of the extract. The result found that the extracts obtained in the laboratory, are not inferior to the factory in terms of the content of the extract of the main active ingredient, and the dry extract exceeds the prototype more than 20 times. Thus, we have proved the usefulness of the method of extraction multifractional to maximize the depletion of raw materials and improve the content of the active substance in the final product. Works on through standardization resulting extract will be continued.
