Abstract:
Due to the fact that the yield and essential oil content of essential-oil plants in general and Dracocephalum moldavica L. in particular in the middle zone of Russia are not high enough, it is important to study the application of growth regulators for growing this plant. The purpose of this work is to improve the productivity of Dracocephalum moldavica L using growth regulators and micronutrients. For this purpose following tasks were set: to examine the effect of growth regulators Zircon and Epin-extra on biometrics and yield; to study the effect of drugs on the content of essential oil, rosemary acid and flavonoids in raw materials; to measure the impact of bioregulators Zircon, Epin-extra and micronutrient Ferovit on yield and quality of raw materials; to identify the possibility of increasing seed production using growth regulators. Dynamics of development allows determining harvesting time of raw materials. The maximum essential oil content is observed in the phase of mass flowering plants. All growth stimulators in 2012-2013 increased the duration of flowering plants. Treated plants earlier entered into the generative phase. Earlier flowering allows receiving harvest in the period of the most favorable weather conditions. As a result of experiments showed that processing with growth regulators of vegetative plants in the phase of 3-4 pairs of true leaves and Ferovit during budding significantly effect on yield. In 2012 Epin-extra was provided the greatest effect on the yield (1.55 kg per 1 m2). The maximum content of essential oil in 2012 was noted in the combined use of Ferovit and Zircon (0.42 %), in 2013 - Epin-extra (0.31 %). The maximum content of flavonoids was noted in use of Zircon and Ferovit (2.43 %). The highest content of rosmarinic acid was observed in the treatments of Zircon (1.39 %), as well as the joint application Epin-extra and Ferovit (1.37 %). Analyzing the data of two years is noted that in a hot and dry years Epin-extra acts effectively, and in a wet and cool years - Zircon. It may be recommended processing of growth regulator Zircon in a phase of 3-4 true leaves 0.1 ml / l to increase the content of essential oils in raw materials.
