The work is devoted to the study of the technological characteristics of dry plant extracts, excipients and their mixtures at creation of phytodrugs. We estimated the technological characteristics of dry extracts of Malva sylvestris, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Aesculus hippocastanum, Potentilla alba and Lycopus europaeus. Values of flowability, bulk mass, angle of repose influence the choice of the dosage form. It is shown that extracts of Aesculus hippocastanum and Potentilla alba are effective to creation of phytodrugs in the form of tablets and granules, as well as for the preparation of capsules. The direct pressing and capsulation of dry extracts of Malva sylvestris, Glycyrrhiza glabra and Lycopus europaeus without excipients is difficult. It is shown that the samples of dry extracts of Lycopus europaeus have different rates of technological characteristics because of differences in the technological scheme of production of dry extracts.
