Abstract:
The spectra of long chain fatty acids (LCFA) and cytokines in a diseased skin in patients with psoriasis were studied. Imbalance in the spectrum of LCFA identified. It was characterized by a deficit of polyene acids on the background of increasing levels of saturated analogs, mainly with an odd number of carbon atoms, and monoene compounds. The shift of cytokine profile in the direction of proinflammatory (IL-1β, IL-8, TNF-α, IFN-α) and mytogene factors on the background of stable values of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 revealed. We determined significant direct correlations between the level of IL-1β and numbers C20:5ω3.
