Abstract:
Inall-Russian research Institute of medicinal and aromatic plants conducted. On the parameters of toxicity after a single intraperitoneal and per`os the mice, rats and guinea pigs of both sexes HelepinD belongs to low-toxic substances. Helepin D does not havea cumulative effect.
Introduction substance Helepin D rats in doses of 50, 500 and 2500 mg/kg in chronic experiment (3 months) did not cause the animals damaging action of the drug on the liver, kidneys, cardiovascular and central nervous system, blood. For a long introduction Helepin D per`osrats at doses of 500 and 2500 mg/kg increased excretion of hippuric acid from the organism of experimental animals, which indicates the strengthening of the hepatoprotective the functions of the liver, has expressed dioreticeski effect, accompanied by gipoazotemicheskoe action.
The study of pharmaceutical forms Helepin D - tablets for oral administration, containing 100 mg Helepin D, ointment 5 % for outdoor use, in a 12-week experiment on dogs and rabbits did not produced toxic effects and irritation on the skin of the experimental animals.
In the study of specific types of toxicity in the Helepin D not found allergic, mutagenic, embriotoxic and teratogenic properties. HelepinD in the dose of 1-2500 mg/kg provides a stimulating effect on the humoral and cellular immunity.
