Abstract:
Viral diseases of the main medicinal cultures are described. It is investigated that in virus infected medical plants quantitative content of basic BAS is substantially reduced. It is shown that under viral infection concentration of photosynthetic pigments in the hyssop plants reduce on 31 - 35 %, coneflower - on 41 - 69 % as compared to control. Carbohydrate content in the virus infected ginseng plants was higher on 26 - 57 % in comparison to healthy samples. In purple coneflower carbohydrate content was increase on 67 - 86 % that testifies about effect of viral infection on metabolic processes in plants. Content of dry matter in the hyssop, valerian and coneflower infected with viruses below, than in healthy.
