Abstract:
The aim of the study was developed a method for the quantitative determination of active substances in the flowers of chamomile, intended for aqueous extracts the preparation. Tests were conducted on the flowers chamomile, grown in the Botanical Garden of the Kazan Medical University. Using the method of mathematic planning of the experiment were selected optimum conditions for the transition of flavonoids - the main active ingredients of the raw materials into the water and developed conditions of the spectrophotometric determination in the reaction with aluminum chloride. Reliability of methods was tested statistically; the error of the method was 4.13 %. It is proposed to standardize the chamomile flowers intended for the preparation of infusions with content of water-soluble flavonoids, which should not be less than 1 %.
