Abstract:
In the pharmacopoeia plot of the botanical garden VILAR on the area of 0,3 hectares cultivated annually about 270 species of plants that are used in officinal medicine in Russia. The collection is located on the pharmacological principle (herbs with choleretic, hemostatic, diuretic, sedative, tonic properties, etc.). The study of pathogenic flora of medicinal and aromatic plants of botanic gardens conducted from mid-20th century. At present, identified 63 types of pathogens belonging to different families. Due to the specific conditions of formation of the site, crowded on a relatively small area of a large number of species of plants growing at the same place for many years leads to a greater extent of damage from various diseases than those of the same species growing in plantations or natural biocoenosis. The most popular on medicinal plants, growing in the pharmacopeia sector have diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, root rots, spots. Development of many diseases and contributes to the fact that farmplot limit on the perimeter of dense planting of shrubs and trees, causing a certain climate, characterized by higher humidity and temperature, less ventilated plots with medicinal plants, which creates favorable conditions for the development of pathogens.
