Many natural chemical compounds isolated from the highest plants are potential inhibitors of various microorganisms, including viruses. However for a long time were not exist uniform methods of screening of plants - producents of antimicrobias substances. We carried out works for creation of scientific and methodological bases of search of antimicrobial phytodrugs providing standardization of methodological conclusions, completeness and objectivity of information. Results of screening researches are to be possibility of creation of anti-infectious remedies including such as alpizarine, anmarin, hiporamin, lutenurin, sanguritrin, chelepin, chelepin D, eucalimin, complex medicines: brusniver, elekasol,at the basis of single plants or their complexes, individual, biologically active substances or their natural complexes (total substances), via carrying out pilot preclinical studies in vitro and in vivo experiments (chemotherapeutic, pharmacological, toxicological). Along with this plant antimicrobial preparations possess anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory properties, don't act on normal microflora of intestines, and promote its restoration at dysbacteriosis and other violations caused during application of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic preparations. The offered uniform system of plants selection as possible producents of antimicrobial substances is not only include the scheme of primary screening of plants, but also provide possibility of the tollowing planned efficient search of the carrier of biological activity in plant (irrespective of a class of natural chemical compounds) with possibility of monitoring direction of chemical researches by a biological method. The screening results of plants as the possible producents of biologically active agents with antimicrobic action, may be of theoretical, and practical value, and promote purposeful search, es with aid of allocation of active ingredients isolation and creation at their basis medicines possessing anti-infectious activity of the planned type. High chemotherapeutic effect of new substances revealed as result of planned screening, has confirmed during the following clinical researches. Results of experimental and clinical studieshave allowed to consider the created anti-infectious agents of the plant origin, as the competitive medicines requiring modern demands.
