Abstract:
This publication aims to provide scientific and theoretical basis for the practical use of the results and determine the prospects for applying the results of previous studies in dentistry. The results of their own studies support the hypothesis about the influence of the functional state of dentition on postural balance. In particular, when the compensated dentition functional state involved in the regulation of the equilibrium in the sagittal and frontal planes, improving performance postural balance at the position of the mandible in centric occlusion. Thus, the results of a study it possible to supplement the physiological significance of dental system in terms of regulation of the balance. The results of these studies provide a fundamentally new for the views of dentistry to improve the methods of functional diagnostics in dentistry and open up a number of prospects for the further study of the data in a number of areas of modern dentistry, physiology. The results of their own studies support the hypothesis about the influence of the functional state of dentition on postural balance. In particular, when the compensated dentition functional state involved in the regulation of the equilibrium in the sagittal and frontal planes , improving performance postural balance at the position of the mandible in centric occlusion . Thus, the results of a study it possible to supplement the physiological significance of dental system in terms of regulation of the balance. On one side of the functional state of dentition can be seen as a measure of functional postural state of the whole system , which could also be run in a separate issue physiological and pathophysiological studies. At the same time change the stabilometry are an important diagnostic criterion for the proper functioning of dentition as postural sensor. Thus , our studies have revealed fundamental physiological basis of dentition as postural sensor , thereby laid a promising direction of the functional studies of dental system and describes its physiological basis.
