Abstract:
The results of daily changes in the element status in whole saliva in healthy women at different phases of the menstrual cycle. The study involved 46 healthy women aged 2040 years in different phases of the menstrual cycle. Surveys were conducted in the morning and 79 hours and in the evening 18-20 in the midfollicular phase for 6-8 days and the midluteal for 19-22 days of the menstrual cycle. Found that the maximum concentration of Al, B, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Hg, Mn, Na, Ni, Sn, Sr and V occur in the morning, and Fe, J, K, Li, Mg, P , Pb, Se, Si and Zn  evening regardless of phase of the menstrual cycle. Daily differences were statistically significant (p <0,05). This daily average concentration of B, Ca, Co, Cu, Hg, Mn, Na, Ni, Se, Si Sn, Sr and Zn is significantly higher in the midfollicular phase, and Al, Cd, Cr, Fe, J, Li, K, Mg , P, V and Pb  the midluteal (p < 0,05). It was revealed that the values of Na/K ratio was significantly increased in the whole saliva, and the ratio K/Ca decreased in the morning and the midfollicular phase of the MC. Daily and interphase differences were statistically significant (p < 0,05). Lower values of Na/K ratio and high K/Ca in the evening hours of the day and the midluteal phase can be explained by increased activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system amplifying reabsorption of sodium, calcium and potassium in the secretion of salivary ducts. Thus, these data suggest that the content of chemical elements in whole saliva in the healthy women of childbearing age have the distinct daily and monthly rhythmicity. The data obtained clarify the concept of the regional rate, which is important for the medical examination in order to identify prenosological state of the female organism, as well as optimize the way chronodiagnostics and treatment of various diseases.
