Choosing a basis for technology ointments

Abstract:
The variety of bases used in the pharmaceutical field, requires classification. Classification of bases for ointments are the sources of receipt, the chemical composition in relation to water. Currently there are no objective measures of consistency ointments and their foundations. Consistency is defined as a set of structural and mechanical (rheological) properties of dosage forms. The structural and mechanical properties of dispersed systems substances include rheological properties, their structure, i.e. ductility, elasticity, and strength. Please be aware that replacement based on changing the viscosity of ointments, then changes the absorption of the active substance.
