Influence of hydrothermal regime of a season on biochemical composition of fruits of little-spread pomology cultures in conditions of Belarus

Abstract:
On the basis of comparative study of variability levels in a cycle of long-term observation of 16 biochemical composition characteristics of fruits of 56 taxa of 5 species of little-spread pomology cultures introduced in Belarus averaged in taxonomic rows - Lonicera edulisTurcz.ex Freyn, Chaenomeles maulei (Mast.) C.K. Schneid, Rosa L., Sorbus aucuparia L. and Viburnum opulus L. there have been established interspecific differences in an extent, to which hydrothermal regime of a season determines the content of dry matter, free organic, ascorbic and phenolcarbolic acids, basic fractions of bioflavonoids, as well as of some fractions of soluble sugars and sugar-acid index. It has been shown that the most expressed intraseasonal differences in biochemical composition of fruits were in general typical of Chaenomeles maulei, the least expressed ones - of Rosa and Lonicera edulis, with an intermediate position taken by Sorbus aucuparia and Viburnum opulus.
