Relation of Antimicrobial Activities and Some Solid Drugs Masses

Abstract:
While examining microbiological quality of medicines it must be determined its antimicrobial activity. This study was carried out in order to find out the relation between antimicrobial activity of solid medicines and its masses. Antimicrobial activity of several pharmaceutical preparations (tablets, powders, granules) Amlodipin 10 mg, Diclofenak 50 mg, Ibuprofen 200 mg in two pharmaceutical groups and drug forms was studied. It was demonstrated dependence of bacteriostasis and fungistasis and products masses. Relation between tablet mass and bacteriostasis and fungistasis was shown in three samples of 3 kinds of medicines with the same doses of active substance. It has proved necessity of antimicrobial activity studying before examination of each medicine microbiological quality.
