Macleya the heart-shaped is one of the major medicinal cultures. It is quite widespread in Japan and China. On the territory of Russia it naturally doesn't grow. Plantations of macleya are put in Western Ciscaucasia, the central Chernozem region and the Average Volga region. Crucial role of Macleya as herb consists in the faet that all its bodies contain alcoloids forming a basis for preparation of «Sangviritrin». According to leading clinics of Russia, Sangviritrin is one of the most effective antimicrobic remedies. At cultivation in various regions of Russia extremely low seed efficiency of plants connected with small viability of pollen and the intense falling of fruits at maturing is revealed. In Hlaptsev E.E. early works (1976-1979) it was noted that at reproduction macleya rhizomes the best term of landing is the autumn. However, as showed our researches under unstable weather conditions at the autumn - winter periods, the considerable death of rhizomes is observed. Therefore we offered spring term of landing by root offsprings (sprouts). In the article, the data on influence of autumn and spring terms of landing on passing of phenological phases, growth and development of the heart-shaped macleya are submitted. By results of researches it is possible to make the conclusion that knowing mean annual data of a temperature mode of autumn and spring and duration of the interphase periods of development of macleya, it is possible to calculate landing terms optimal for its growth and cultural development.
