Essential Microelements and Lipid Peroxidation Indicators Levels in Rat Organs as a Result of Treatment with Medicines

Abstract:
In animal experiments, an influence of two medicines on a level of lipid peroxidation indicators - malonic dialdehyde, MDA, and diene cojugates, DC and contents of essential microelements is studied in rat organs. It is demonstrated that a single peritoneal administration of cyclophosphoroamide (40 mg/kg) drops statistically aproved a content of six essential microelements - iron, zinc, manganase, molibdenum, cobalt, and selenium, and doesn-t change a level of copper, chromium and iodine. Lipid peroxidation in rat heart, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, and spleen is not influenced by cyclophosphamide i.p. administrations in doses of 20 to 80 mg/kg. There are just two exeptions from the conclusion: a thymus where the DC level is increased after i.p. cyclophosphamide administration at doses of 60 and 80 mg/kg, and a brain where the MDA level is increased (statistically approved) after i.p. cyclophosphamide administration at a dose of 80 mg/kg. Dioxydine doesn-t change LPO indicators level at all doses used: from 20 to 300 mg/kg, and in all rat organs under consideration: brain, heart, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, spleen and thymus.
