Abstract:
The purpose of this work  to investigate the condition of NO-dependent mechanisms (nitrite and nitrotyrosine concentration) and activity of free-radical processes (the chemiluminescence-s intensity) of white rat's placenta and fetuses in normal and on background of disturbance of uteroplacental circulation. At chronic nitrite intoxication (per os 0.2% solution of sodium nitrite, from the first day of pregnancy) contents NO does not authentically vary, in fetuses - nitrite concentration increases vastly, antioxidant activity decreases. Being injected of nitric oxide antagonist Nw-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester L-NAME (10 mg/kg intramuscularly, from the first day of pregnancy), the weight of placentas and the chemiluminescence-s intensity increases, contents of nitrotyrosine in placenta and in fetuses reduces. At disturbance of uteroplacental circulation concentrate of nitrites and nitrotyrosine in a placenta does not vary, concentrate of nitrotyrosine in serum fetuses increases. At disturbance of uteroplacental circulation and introduction of nitric oxide antagonist L-NAME the contents of nitrites and nitrothyrosine increases both in tissue of placenta, and in serum of fetuses. Thus, NO-dependent mechanisms provide optimal adaptation of fetoplacental blood flow to needs of a fetus for different rates of its existence.
