Background. Microwave antennas working with the radio systems for various purposes usually has a complex spatial configuration, which is further distorted due to external mechanical and thermal the who action to them. Such configuration complexity and spatial lengthy-ness radiating surfaces real microwave antennas put a limit rigorous approach to mathematical description of radiation. The exit from such situation is the use of the finite element method, which is based on the following procedures: decomposition – a decomposition of the structure of the antenna independently of the modeled part (autonomous units) in the first stage and recomposite the overall structure of the antenna with the restoration of all links Autonomous units in the mathematical model in the second stage. This radiating structure can be mapped to a certain boundary value problem for Maxwell's equations, and then the result of algorithms to a mathematical model implemented on the computer. One of the main problems in the design of microwave antennas with complex spatial configuration of the finite element method is the synthesis of the geometrical model of the radiating surface with an acceptable degree of accuracy. The problem of discrete representation of the radiating surface of the microwave antenna with a complex spatial configuration and modeling of radiation of this antenna by the finite element method. Methods. The proposed partition with uniform step most of the radiating surface, allowing you to control the size of the elements of the partition by the whole radiating surface, and to achieve better approximation accuracy at the same computational cost. In accordance with the electrodynamics problem of radiation of the antenna with a complex spatial configuration, the emitting surface of the microwave antenna is represented by a collection of independent elementary parts as a result of excitation which are components of the total field of the antenna radiating surface of the antenna is considered as a complex emitter, and the field seems to be at the point of observation by a superposition of the fields of elementary sites that form this surface. Results. For a mirrored parabolic antenna constructed of geometric and electrodynamic model and calculation of radiation patterns at different steps of the sampling surface, allowing you to select the step providing the required accuracy. Conclusions. The results show that the proposed finite element mathematical model can be used in the design of antennas with complex spatial configuration, and to analyze the effect on the radiation characteristics of antennas of different deformation effects.
