Abstract:

Problem statement. To ensure Russia's independence from foreign companies in the face of global technological and economic competition, the most important condition is ensuring the sustainable development and operation of production systems. This can be achieved through modernization, which will improve the quality of manufactured products, improve production efficiency, and shorten the production cycle. In this regard, there is a need to expand the functionality of the existing control system of automated storage and retrieval systems at JSC NPP Radiosvyaz, which currently interacts with an elevator-type AS/RS with one issuance window for storing purchased components, parts and assembly units, and tools. The expansion of the functionality of the AS/RS control system is achieved through the integration of the AS/RS with Vertical Lift Module, manufactured by Russian company RT-Tekhpostavka ACC STT for the storage of rolled metal products, through a developed library of control commands into the unified information space of the enterprise to ensure compatibility with the existing information infrastructure of the warehouse. Purpose. Expanding the functionality of the AS/RS control system with subsequent integration of the AS/RS with Vertical Lift Mo dule (made in Russia by RT-Tekhpostavka) for the storage of rolled metal products, through a developed library of control commands, into a unified information space to ensure compatibility with the existing warehouse information infrastructure.

Results. By expanding the functionality of the AS/RS control system, it became possible to integrate with AS/RS with a Vertical Lift Module, which contains more than one dispensing window. A command library was developed for controlling the AS/RS with a Vertical Lift Module (made in Russia by RT-Tekhpostavka) for the storage of rolled metal products. This enables the integration of AS/RS data into the enterprise's unified information space and solves a number of problems in the rolled metal warehouse, namely: a large number of manual operations; increased risk of injury due to frequent transportation of rolled metal products to processing equipment or machines; lack of tracking and access control to stored materials for personnel; lengthy transportation of materials to processing equipment or machines; difficult retrieval of materials; and inefficient use of space.

Practical significance. The results obtained make it possible to use this experience for other production systems.
