Modern forest ecosystems are increasingly exposed to multiple threats, including wildfires, illegal logging, pest outbreaks, and tree diseases. To ensure effective forest management, situational centers (SCs) are being widely implemented, integrating satellite data, ground-based sensors, unmnned systems, and meteorological services. Based on the experiences of Russia, China, Brazil, and Canada, this study demonstrates how situational centers support wildfire monitoring and forecasting, forest use control, prevention of illegal logging, and enhancement of forest biosecurity. The application of geographic information systems, analytical models, and artificial intelligence methods enables not only the detection of ongoing events but also the modeling of their potential development scenarios. The article discusses approaches to data integration, national implementation specifics, as well as prospects for international cooperation and the use of predictive analytics to strengthen the resilience of forest management.
