Abstract:
The paper is about technical vision system of aircrafts that will improve the safety of low-altitude flying. The problems of using stereovision for constructing 3D-surface described. The choice of technical vision sensors for more accurate results from stereo pare of video sensors justified. Using of laser illumination allows specifying surface texture when the stereo algorithms gave bad result or when using only one optical sensor. The model of placement laser-s block with video sensors offered. The method of calculating distance using laser illumination described. This method allows to realize the algorithm of calculation may be used pre-prepared data for define distance to laser point. Experimental verification of this method realized on Xilinx FPGA development board Virtex VC707 Evaluation Kit. The difficulties of realization the algorithm on FPGA, ways to solve them and ways to improve performance described. The results of experiments shows that for the problem of determination the surface textures just one camera enough and also this method and the selected laser-s block placement allows to clarity the topography with bad for stereo algorithms textures.
