Abstract:
Currently the business community is concerned with the problem of efficiency. Many organizations questioned the feasibility of automating their business processes. It requires large investments. It is necessary to optimize automated processes before program implementation. It is necessary to remove the unnecessary elements and movements. Business processes must consist of a necessary and sufficient action to achieve results. The complexity of the business process is the length of the process chain. The effectiveness of the business process is a quantitative evaluation of its actual implementation in percent of the planned implementation. Analysis of the model of a business process is conducted. This model is a chain of independent blocks. The result of each block is a discrete random variable (as a result of the business process as a whole). The model of the expected value is an exponential function. The expected value is approximately equal to arithmetic mean the value of the random variable. Only a situation where the expectation graph decreases with increasing n makes sense in the economy. After conduct experimental run of models having different numbers of blocks we obtained the following conclusions: 1) the more blocks, the fewer the mean value of business process efficiency; 2) the more blocks, the fewer the most typical value; 3) the more blocks, the less predictable result of process. It negatively influences on business process efficiency.
