In the modern organization of electronic document management system (DMS) have become an indispensable element of the IT infrastructure. They help increase the efficiency of businesses and industries, and government agencies on the basis of electronic document technology solves problems of internal management, interagency cooperation and interaction with the public. The challenge of protecting document becomes relevant now. Currently, in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, some systems used (except Russian 1C version used in Vietnam) have the following disadvantages: 1) Weak authentication in the system; 2) The lack of built-in cryptographic information security; 3) Difficulties in the use of digital signatures and providing legal significance of the documents. The study analyzed the security of electronic document management systems, taking into account features of Vietnam. Optimization problem of evaluating the effectiveness of the protection will be to ensure the necessary level of protection at the lowest cost protection system.
