Abstract:
Analysis of the development of the Russian legislation on the prosecution during the period of operation of the Criminal Procedure Code of RSFSR (19602001). It is shown that the distinguishing feature of the Code was the absence of the concept of "criminal prosecution". It is noted that the last 11 years of operation of the Code coincided with the period of radical change in Russia, which have caused a radical change in the rules of criminal procedure. This was reflected in the changes that were made to the Code.
