Foundation and development of regional innovation cluster: organizational and methodical issues

Abstract:
In this paper theoretical and applied aspects of formation and development of regional innovation clusters such as creation of favorable conditions, cooperation between authorities and business and the sequence of actions are under consideration. The problems of contemporary regional economic growth require for implementation of new forms of innovation process organization. At present time the most effective alternative to the traditional industrial policy are considered to be clusters. This article proposes integrated management model of regional innovation clusters formation and development. Within the frames of proposed model regional innovation cluster is considered as complex developing system based on cooperation of universities, research companies, ventures investors, industrial companies, authorities and intermediaries that provides regular generation of competitive innovations and its successful commercialization.
