The analysis of activity of natural monopolies of the Vladimir region, including allocation of strong and weakfeatures of such enterprises is carried out in this article. The activities of natural monopolies in the Vladimir region are analysed. Absence of the single complete register of subjects of natural monopolies is the key problem complicating activities of the Vladimir management of Federal antimonopoly service. Besides, the results of SWOT-analysis to which natural and exclusive structures of the region underwent are given. SWOT-analysis showed that for effective upgrade of industries of natural monopolies of the Vladimir region of possibilities and key factors of success (strong sides) which will help to level all weaknesses and threats are enough.
