Abstract:
This article is devoted to the cluster analysis for separation of thunderstorm cells, grouping in accord with the concentration of the lighting strokes within the thunderstorm cell. To classify the lighting discharges two methods of cluster analysis are sequentially used. Initial clustering is put into effect with the help of the method of minimal local distance; at the second stage of the algorithm the modal analysis is applied.
