Forming of a virtual binocular visual image is used as a method of research, examination and directed correction of visual functions, in which external and internal informational flows are important management components. The result of their synthesis and integration is a mortho-functional adjustment of visual system to adequate perception. The author asserts that the «virtual binocular visual image» is virtually an objective informational equivalent of a 3D visual scene. The examination by the proposed method allows to differentiate subtly the individual characteristics of binocular vision. Positive effect of correction exposure may be achieved by directed material, mortho-functional reorganization of the visual system for obtaining of an ideal ‘informational equivalent’ – the result of its’ activity.
