Pulse interval jitter of combined passively and actively electrooptically Q-switched solid-state laser has been investigated. Pockels and Kerr cells are studied as active modulators. Analytical expressions are obtained for pulse interval jitter of solid-state laser. The possibilities of reducing of the jitter are studied. It is shown, that jitter is minimized by choosing of cell modulation signal.
